Apple offers a widget for your iTunes activity.
Nice. But it’s total shit. Apple offers three possibilities: purchases, favorites and reviews, but basically it shows only those items you have bought from iTunes Store. And it’s Flash widget. WTF?!? Widgets on the Mac OS X are html/css/javascript hybrids. I know that many community sites don’t allow users to upload any javascript, but Apple should offer html/css/javascript alternative.
And I know that Apple wants to get some free media-space for the iTunes Store and they don’t want to give an impression that one can buy every album or song they see on peoples widgets from iTunes Store, but c’mon! Show us all of those albums and songs one can buy from iTunes Store.
And things get even worse. The widget doesn’t remember albums I bought more than a year ago. Fuck. What a joke. Get your things together or don’t offer this kind of a bullshit. We don’t need it … especially from Apple.
