Being Johnny Thunders
Friday, November 30, 2007 @ 16:08

In my business one can always bet on two things. 1) There’s no easy and fast gigs. They always get bigger and complicated. Today I almost finished one CSS -file that I started working on august. I don’t know how expensive is the most expensive CSS -file in history, but that file is one of the extremely expensive ones - about 10 000 euros. 2) Boys from London always screw things up. I can only play Johnny Thunders’ song “London Boys” in my head.

You best believe I’m from New York city.

You’re telling me ’shut your mouth’
If I wasn’t kissing, you wouldn’t be around
You talk about faggots, little moma’s boy
You sit at home, you got a chaperone
You need an escort to take a piss
He holds your hand and he shakes your dick
You’re so pretty, suburban kitty
You think you’re gonna change, rearrange your city?

Little London boys
You’re little London boys
You’re little London boys
You think you’re gonna fool me?
Ha ha ha ha

Little rich kid, what do you know?
You had everything, don’t you think it don’t show?
I’ve been a climbing, just a face to the wall
Too much too soon, do you recall?

Have a holiday in the city,
Feelings in the air, vasaline pretty
You don’t need no drunk, just LSD
You’re all big shots. Shot by me!

You’re little London boys
You’re little London boys
You’re little London boys
And I’m talking about the whole audience.

Too bad you boys don’t know
And the girls they don’t go
Everybody just shows

You’re little,
Little London boys
You’re little London Boys
You’re little London Boys
You’re little London Boys
You’re little London Boys
You’re little London Boys
You’re little,
You’re little,
Little London boys
You’re little London Boys

You poor little puppet

They really should add “Add Apple” -button to Photoshop. People would use it … a lot!

Now I know what I’m going to do whole weekend. Yes!!

Guitar Hero III

And “Sweet Child O’ Mine” bought (or will buy) Mass Effect. And we already have Assassin’s Greed and Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction on the shelf. So many games, so little time …

And here we go again …

Trent has extremely good idea. He wants to have an aggregate site for all fan-created remixes (of his music). Everything was ready, set and go … but his former record company won’t allow it. They own masters and no one can touch them without their permission. Great!

Universal fears that if they open remix site the company can’t have same time law suits against YouTube and Google. Some people and organizations really fear true innovations.

While I am profoundly perturbed with this stance as content owners continue to stifle all innovation in the face of the digital revolution, it is consistent with what they have done in the past. So… we are challenged at the last second to find a way of bringing this idea to life without getting splashed by the urine as these media companies piss all over each other’s feet. We have a cool and innovative site ready to launch but we’re currently scratching our heads as to how to proceed.
More to come….

This will piss you off …

I’m not an environmentalist but I think that biosphere is worth saving for. And this is totally my egoistic and selfish point of view. So, this really pissed me off today. According to this survey the war in Iraq will cost more that 2 trillion dollars (that’s $2,000,000,000,000). This calculation doesn’t include veterans’ benefits and costs like that.

And why George W. Bush and his bosses are in war? Because of oil. Everybody knows that. With 2 trillion dollars United States could have built solar thermal plants that would have provided more that 2/3rds amount of energy needed in U.S.A. Do your math … America could have reached independency from oil by the very same amount of money they put (and will put more) in war to get their oil. Read more from Solar Power Rocks!.
